The OPTIMAR project

The OPTIMAR project is based on the application of advanced digital systems for optimising the for the optimisation of the monitoring, operation and integration of floating offshore wind energy.

OPTIMAR is subsidised by the CDTI and supported by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation through the TRANSMISIONES 2023 programme, and responds to Thematic Priority 3: Contribute to the energy transition in Spain and the development of 21st century energies, through the design of innovative solutions for offshore wind energy with the aim of ensuring optimal energy production in offshore wind farms and their integration into the grid.

The project is expected to have a duration of 3 years, covering the period 01/24 to 12/26.
